Excellent nursing staff. One or two of the doctors very good and provide exceptionable patient care but some of the others have a lethargic attitude. Reception improving but how helpful it is sadly still depends on who you get. Does not give the impression of being well managed and there is a sense of it being a bit chaotic behind the scenes I am sad to say. Fiasco over the over 65s open flu clinic a case in point. Those with most need should have been prioritised and appointments offered. How much interest the doctors showed in these arrangements I do not know. Very sad to see elderly people some in wheelchairs queuing in the rain only to find there was not enough vaccine. Evidence of poor planning and a degree of indifference to patients which is sometimes the case.

Anonymous feedback is always difficult to discuss on line. Due to NHS England deciding to use two separate flu vaccines this year, all existing orders were cancelled.

Practices were directed to approved suppliers who then in turn dictated the delivery schedules. This is a national strategy and all practices are in the same difficult situation and have been left to manage it as best we can.

We do not have the control that we have had in the past and would not have run out of vaccine and be waiting for the next delivery.

I hope that if you have any further issues with the level of service we provide you feel that you could discuss it with one of the management team and give the practice an opportunity to deal with problems as they arise.
