About: The Wembley Practice

For the past 8 months I have been trying to get this practice to clear my PCO license. As a result of 8 months of back and forth - nothing has happened. Information about me has been provided incorrectly, with lifestyle tendencies dating over 20 years being provided within the application as well as medication I no longer take. There is no care for the patients, no communication and absolutely no desire to help.

I have a chronic illness, diabetes and take repeated medication. When my medication was suddenly stopped for no apparent reason - there was confusion and no one seemed to take any responsibility. Rather, I was met with excuses on excuses and staff looking around sheepishly.

Even when I took to the doctors to complain about constant pain in my back and leg - repeatedly I was dismissed as being 'depressed' and valid suffering was excused as being 'all in your head'. Yet, I've been diagnosed ever since and pain that was 'all in my head' has become something as severe as nerve compression and something that will affect me for the rest of my life.

Frankly, this is appalling and the way i've been treated as a patient, as someone who puts trust into the hand of these doctors is disgusting. I've never been respected, never been treated with dignity. I've been dismissed and excused and constantly been taken around in circles. This practice is horrifying and I wish the same to no one.

Thank you for your comment and feedback. We are disappointed that we were not able to meet your expectation on this occasion and would welcome the opportunity to put this right.

We met and discussed the issue in detail. We always respect and treat our patients with dignity and care. I am looking into your complaint and as discussed and agreed in our meeting on 8.10.18 I would update you accordingly. This will definitely help us improve our service to you and other patients.
