"Poor organisation"

About: The Frinton Road Med Ctr

Yesterday I waited 35 mins to get an answer from the surgery,I informed them it was an emergency that my wife had been unwell for 3 days.I was giving a time only to be informed 20 mins later that the gp couldnt access patients files and that a gp would see her at 13.20.

On being called in we found that the person seeing us was a nurse practitioner,after being seen the np informed us because of the symptoms of my wife she would have to see a gp,something we ask for intially.So we had to come back at 14.50.

This is no bad reflection on the np but a glaring case of poor management,I now see why the a&e dept are so overun when your confronted with this problem.I feel sorry for the receptionists who are constantly bombarded with problems caused by this useless system.

This new "system" has been up and running for sometime now and in my view it is getting no better and in some instances getting worse.
