"Hospital staff manner during appointments"

About: Great Ormond Street Hospital Central London Site

My child was seen by a particular doctor and her dietitician. Our child to had to write to ormon d street to get dieticians input resumed, as he has feeding difficulties which form part of a definitive genetic diagnosis. The gp wrote to ormond street to request dieticians input which he did not have for 18 months.Upon arrival off our appointment we were asked by the doctors dieticians WHY the go wrote to the hospital about the dietitics issue. We found this surprising as we should not be expected to advocate for ANY health professional.During the appointment we were subject to sneering facial gestures from the doctor and her dietician.I can only assume that they were reacting in a negative way to our gpdeciding to constructively intervene in our child's treatment with GOSH.
