"It's' the People Wot Done it!"

I had my triple heart bypass operation just over a year ago on 2nd August 2017 and stayed in Princess Alexandra ward. I cannot overstate the absolute care given by every member of the hospital, from my very kind and caring consultant to the nurses who made me comfortable especially in recovery and HDU. Not forgetting all the other carers from pharmacology to meal provision. My medical team , no that sounds precocious! The medical team was superb, checking on me (and every one else, every few hours with help and advice.

The food was.......actually it was fine considering I didn't have much of an appetite and my only criticism, really was the washing and toilet facilities which badly needed updating, but that cannot take away the way the wonderful staff cared for me.

PS I had to reprise my visit to Royal Brompton in November for a minor day procedure and different ward different staff but still the same care.
