"4yr old son in A&E"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital / Accident and emergency

After an unhelpful GP appointment, a significant decline in my 4yr olds health led me to 111 who sent us to A&E. They were quite busy but we were seen in triage quickly. The nurses and Dr were kind and sympathetic and listened to my concerns. They were all very good with my son, talking to him and explaining what they needed to do. We were there 4 hours in total, but this was due to ongoing treatment and not because of any delays.
