I visited QE2 for the first time today. I was surprised at how modern, clean and spacious the building was, especially in comparison with the rest of my treatment at Lister. Parking was easy and so was finding the right reception desk. The clinic wasn’t too busy and I was seen impressively fast. The reception staff were polite and helpful as was the nurse I dealt with. The doctor, however, was unbelievably rude. I was asked to solve maths questions (working out percentages), but was unable to answer the doctor immediately (it’s been many years since school!) - so he sighed and rolled his eyes at me. I found his entire consultation really unprofessional and I felt as though he was trying to make me look stupid. Not the conduct I’d expect.
Despite this, I imagine that he is not a representation of the entire team and I would still be likely to recommend QE2 based on the other positive aspects of my visit.
"Lovely, modern hospital... shame about the doctor!"
