"NON DELIVERY OF CRITICAL ANTI-TNF MEDICATION"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Rheumatology

SOMETHING HAS GONE SERIOUSLY WRONG with repeat medication administration at LRI Rheumatology Department!

I was due for a delivery of Humira injections three weeks ago and I am now 4 weeks behind in my injection schedule.

After many calls to the provider (Healthcare at Home), calls to the hospital and many e-mails to the Rheumatology Dept.

and also intervention by my GP (who informs me that my blood tests are up-to-date and satisfactory), I, to date have received no indication or communication from the Rheu. Dept. to say when my delivery is due.

H at H tell me that they still have not received the prescription authorising delivery from the hospital!!

This situation is giving me great concern, anxiety and stress.

I post this review in the hope that SOMEONE in the department may have compassion and care enough to 'chase' this administrative error with a view to putting this wrong, right.

Kindest regards... Richard Merriman.
