About: Crosshouse Hospital / Ophthalmology Scottish Ambulance Service / Patient Transport Service

(as a service user),

I was attending an eye appointment at Crosshouse Hospital and I was taken there by ambulance. They were so helpful. I am partially sighted. The service was excellent. One person on the ambulance had travel sickness and the team dealt with them very professionally and discreetly. 

The care and attention we received was superb. They made me feel alright about a difficult experience. The female ambulance driver even helped me into the house on my way home. 

I cannot thank them enough.

Thank you so much for your kind words and I am so pleased that you have such a positive experience with our service. It is also nice to read the kind words around the care for your fellow passengers on the vehicle with you. Travel sickness is a horrible thing and can be uncomfortable not just for the patient experiencing the symptoms but for those around them also.
