"Excellent Care"

About: Leicester General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I was referred for an operation on the base of my thumb to remove a bone as I have arthritis.

I waited two and a half months from seeing the surgeon to having the operation.

From the moment I arrived on the day I had fantastic treatment.

Every member of staff (and they do a 12 hour shift) was polite, friendly and efficient.

Nothing was too much trouble.

My follow up appointment at the Glenfield to be fitted with a plaster cast was as efficient.

I am “looking forward!” to having the same operation on my other thumb in a few months.
