"Rude nurse"

Just would like mention we saw one of the nurses. We are happy with the consultation received for our child however just found her comment to be rude. We went with two of our children after school.

As we are all aware how two year olds can be loud have tantrums and they are still very young to understand they are in a gp surgery where they need to be quiet.

As we walked in to the room she commented how loud my 2 year is and heard her arrive at the surgery and that it should be “quiet like a library” I know she was joking but she could also see us trying to stop our two year old from screaming. I did say my child was tired as she just returned from nursery.

She was asked why are you screaming making face to which she seemed annoyed to the noise to which my partner asked if she had children and perhaps she forgot how loud they are at two.

We shouldn’t have to justify why our two year old is loud as a professional she should know and be aware all children are different and have patience. That kind of comment is not appreciated.
