"no-one answers any phones"

About: Salford Royal / Gynaecology

when you have been on hold for over 40 minutes to find out of your cervical cancer results have come back is a little annoying, after finding out they have changed from borderline to severe.

Not only that but i was given the wrong letter stating everything was fine when in actual fact it is not and i was then notified on the phone it is severe as the nurse made an error.

Nurse thought this is odd so sent the sample to be tested again saying she will contact me within a week as i may not have to have the pre-op (knowing i am frightened of needles) so i try to call to find out the results, number i was given last week was incorrect. I use the one on the gynacology website and they state they dont deal with colposcopy, they put me through to the switch, they put me through to colposcopy to which i have been on hold for nearly an hour as i am writing this review and still have no answer.

Absolutely disgusting service when i have been told i have severe cells so am very anxious and then need a pre-op tomorrow to which she stating (i may not even need) which is a waste of your time and also mine to which i also loose money from work!!

you must think we can all sit on hold for an hour when we are in work this is not acceptable and i am very upset at the service i have received from you

Dear Anonymous

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. We are so sorry to hear about your experience with trying to get hold of our team to follow up on your results. We are disappointed as your experience does not reflect our Trust values, where we pride ourselves on our professionalism and communication skills.
