"Very good prompt service"

About: Sevenoaks Hospital

On Tuesday I fell on concrete, twisting my knee and ankle which were crushed under me.

We were south of Tunbridge Wells, so went to their A&E which had a three hour waiting time, but as were visiting cousins in Sevenoaks, we went on to their house and my husband's cousin took me to your unit.

This was at 3.30pm, and we were seen within five minutes: then a short wait to have the injury assessed, no wait at all for the four x-rays which were needed, and a longer wait - understandably - while my and other people's x-rays were interpreted.

Then I was shown my x-rays on a screen and they were explained to me, and lastly my ankle and knee were strapped and I was given clear advice for how to deal with pain and so on.

I could not have hoped for a better environment, staff, attitude and care.

I'm 74 years old but was treated as a normal adult, with no patronising language!

Thank you very much for all of this..

Please let me know if you have a charity to which I can make a donation to show my gratitude.
