phoned up sevenoaks hospital as friend had extreme pain from nose could see redness swelling and white lumps in nose was told to come down as this could be treated there , was told would be seen by a doctor over phone.
arrived 30 min later was checked in saw a nurse which told us that there was nothing really wrong just a small sinus infection but we explained it has been like this for 3 months and was sent home with nothing but advice to sniff steam with menthol, i felt this was unacceptable as on the leaflet i was given it said if you experience symptoms for more than 10 days to see a doctor as you will need antibiotics i had already suffered for 3 months and wanted it sorted, after 2 hours had to drive 1 hour down to hastings walk in doctors to get a second opinion and glad i did as i saw a nurse there and needed amoxicillin due to a bad sinus infection no thanks to sevenoaks hospital.
