"Limited physical activity support at Pilgrim Hospital"

About: Pilgrim Hospital

(as the patient),

I was not receiving any help at all, so I complained and was booked in at Boston Hospital.

I was booked in for physical treatment in the hospital gym, but out of six periods three were cancelled, then I was told that I could only have six periods in the gym, and my time was up.

I had only had three, and at times I was left on the bicycle for ages, with no one to supervise me.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience and I am sorry it was not more positive. It will be difficult for me to respond here about your issues without having some more detail - if you would like to, you can contact us at patient.involvement@ulh.nhs.uk and we can arrange to discuss further. In the meantime please accept my apologies as clearly you felt unsupported and had sessions cancelled. I have passed on your comments to relevant staff. Thank you once again - patient feedback is very important to us as we aim to continuously improve our standards and practice.
