"Counselling helped me come to terms"

About: Birmingham Hospice – Erdington

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Having counselling at John Taylor Hospice made me relaxed more to come to terms with what would happen. I felt I was a stressful person and I thought I wouldn't cope when my husband died so it was good to talk about how I felt.

It made me realise how to cope with everything.

I was pleased at getting the support before my husband died as I don't know how I would have coped. Now I know I have to step back and think first.
