"First degree burn"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Community Nursing Service

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter (5 year old) suffered a first degree burn on her arm and after initial emergency treatment she was referred to the South Lanarkshire Community nurse' team. Sharon -SL Community nurse- visited us in our home and from her first visit she was very reassuring, caring and professional. She also adapted her visits to our busy schedule (school and work) and ensured that all visits were carried out by her to ensure continuity. Thank you very much Sharon for helping us though a traumatic experience and to the whole team for their support. Continue with the great work you are doing, it is very much appreciated!

Dear Hamilton resident,

Thanks for getting in touch with us - I'm sorry to read about your daughter - sounds painful - hope she is okay!

I'm so glad to read that our community nurses were able to help at home and sounds like she has been really accommodating and reasonable - going that extra mile to make sure her burn heals well.

I'll pass this onto the locality manager who will share with the community nursing team, who I'm positive will be so happy to recieve such lovely feedback. I hope you all recover from the experience soon and your daughter is on the mend!

Thanks

Laura
