Many thanks to the hospital staff including both the reception and paediatric nurses who conducted the pre op assessment and for being flexible with a mix up dates.
They made the experience for my daughter very relaxed and explained the procedure in easy to understand terms. All of our questions were answered expertly and demonstrated the process of administering the anesthetic both with the video and a test of the numbing hand cream / spare canula.
We were also shown around the hospital ward and introduced to various members of staff which alleviated the anxiety of the procedure.
The literature provided was also very helpful along with the follow up emails for access to the children's video and information links which I received shortly after leaving the appointment.
All in all a very professional assessment targeted at the right level and delivered by involving the patient ensured any stress or anxieties were relieved very quickly. No hesitation in recommending the services from of the hospital staff.
