I had my tonsils out at 56 years of age in late sept and the surgery went well and all was looking good then on Friday the pain in my throat got so bad I stopped eating and drinking so by Monday I was badly dehydrated, I went to the doctors and was admitted to hospital, this is where the story begins
I was admitted to e.n.t on Monday evening where I was looked after by the most dedicated nurses I have ever met although I could not say much due to the Pain. They knew exactly what to do to make me comfortable. It turned out that the Pain was not my tonsils but something else, between the nurses (Donna, Carol and Adriann) they have had so much patience with me and everyone else on the ward even when being short staffed, I can only thank the nurses mentioned above as without them working and talking to me to get me through the past 4 days I don’t know how I would be doing today. So as nurses are not given enough recognition for how hard they work take it from me being in the Larbert hospital on ward B31 has been a humbling experience as I believe that the nurses and other staff on that ward have worked so hard and there dedication to their jobs is second to none,I would just like to say thank you again and keep up the good work you are my inspiration and new heroes.
