"Dignified care at end of life"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

Visited PRH on 5 September after my mother was brought into A & E after being taken ill at home. All paramedics, reception staff and the medical team behaved in a dignified caring manner. Mum died soon after being admitted but the family received care and polite attention at all times. The NHS is clearly under pressure, yet all staff are working in stressful conditions and still manage to provide a dedicated service in difficult circumstances. Thank you so much, whatever will Shropshire and the wider community do now PRH is under so much pressure and closing at night.

Good morning,

Firstly may I please convey my condolences for your loss.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences of the A&E Department at the Princess Royal Hospital.

Receiving feedback means a lot to the staff and so thank you for providing this feedback.

I will ensure I share this with the department Manager for A&E so she can share this with her team.

Kind Regards

Patient Experience Team
