I have always being happy with the service of this surgery until I gave birth to my daughter. My 6 week review (after a c-section) was actually done at 8 weeks and I was simply asked if I was ok. Thankfully I was but I was made to feel rushed. Secondly my daughter (10 weeks old) was given some medicine at the hospital, when it came to having it prescribed again the prescription that arrived at the pharmacy was the medicine in a different format (instead of liquid, a dissolvable tablet). The pharmacy informed me this change would have been made as the tablet format is cheaper! I rang the doctors to explain that I did not want my 10 week olds medicine changing without consultation with me (over the phone discussion with a receptionist), nor did I want this format when a dissolvable tablet is hassle with a newborn- the hospital explained this to me! I was told a GP would ring me back as my daughter had no medicine left. A GP hasn’t rung me back and now the pharmacy is closed and my baby doesn’t have any medicine. Totally unacceptable.
"Very disappointed"
