"Patient centred approach"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Outpatients

(as the patient),

I was admitted for minor surgery to Forth Valley Hospital, the surgical team were a nurse led service and may I say what a professional group of practitioners; David, Pamela and Dee. Their expertise and patient centred approach was apparent from admission to discharge. My wounds have healed and are indicative of excellence in their technique, my appreciation to you all. Their provision of care is five star and they have perfected the patients "journey".

Sorry for the delay in replying, your lovely comments were in the "outpatients" box and they escaped my attention.

Thank you for letting us know how you got on. It is rare we are told if everything went to plan and we are delighted to hear you healed well. Hopefully the scar will be cosmetically acceptable for you.

It is particularly pleasing that you noticed we put the patient at the centre of everything we do.You are, actually, quite important to us:)

5 star sounds great ( unless it is out of 10...) We will try to keep the standard high.

Thanks again

David
