"The birth of my daughter"

I would like to thank and congratulate the fabulous staff of the maternity unit at DVH. Throughout my pregnancy I received exlempary care from the anti-natal unit, Tambootee ward, cedar and aspen wards and theatre.

Unfortunately I cannot recall the staff names who cared for me between however they err simply amazing. 

As a first time mum I was a little anxious about the labour and birth but I was reassured throughout. 

Due to complications I had to have an emergency c section. Even in the grips of contractions I was overwhelmed by the care and attention I was given particularly by the midwife and consultant who delivered my daughter on 2 Sep. 

The anaesthetist even wiped my tears when my daughter was delivered. 

Please can you pass my thanks and gratitude on to those on duty that weekend, I just wish I remembered their names. 

We are so quick to complain but rarely we stop to say thank you.
