What I liked

The Nursing assistant that acted as chaperone, she was kind, supportive and quite literally, a shoulder to cry on.

The value of these nursing assistants is often overlooked, but they are the backbone of the hospital.

The attitude of the registrar that I saw was appalling. I felt like he could not be bothered to talk to me, he was slouched in his chair, disinterested in what I had to say. When he did discus my condition, he made me feel so bad, he laid the 'blame' squarely on my shoulders. I felt that he ignored the fact that I had a right to make my own choice regarding my own body. During his consultation I was so upset, I had a panic attack (not something that has happened to me before). But worst of all, he did not perform the procedure that I was referred to the clinic for, and instead of rescheduling, he discharged me.

I felt like my choice and my dignity were striped from me.
