My 92 year old mother is a patient here. There’s no proactive care - they don’t even send her a flu jab reminder. She’s been seriously ill abroad, specially flown back on oxygen, but does her GP follow up? No. Neither have they followed up on hospital admissions for broken hip, fractured pelvis, or breast cancer. And do they send her prescriptions to the chemist when requested? No. They need constant chivvying, which causes my mum huge stress, and the fear of being left without medication. I suspect the problem is more with the administration than the doctors who seem nice if she manages to see them. One recently followed up a concern diligently. But the standard of practice falls so far below my own GP practice in Thornton Heath.
