"Excellent"

What I liked

I had cardioversion so was treated in the coronary care unit and in theatre.

The anaesthetic team were excellent - I was absolutely confident in their skills and they lived up to my expectations. The cardiologist ensured that my heart was returned safely to a normal rhythm. The nurses in recovery ensured that I was woken from the anaesthetic safely and in comfort. I felt safe, included in decisions and impressed throughout a procedure that I was quite apprehensive about .

The staff on the coronary care unit were also amazing. they communicated well, explained everything they needed to do - and why - and involved me and my husband in every decision. They were kind, compassionate and caring.

Everybody that I had the provelege to come into contact with from ward hostess to nurse to doctor were absolutely first rate. Thank you to the whole team - you do your Trust and the NHS proud.

What could be improved

Nothing at all
