"Early pregnancy bleed"

About: Good Hope Hospital / Maternity care Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital

(as the patient),

After losing a baby earlier in the year I was traumatised by a bleed in my current pregnancy. I went to my local walk in hospital Robert Peel, all staff were so helpful and I came away feeling really positive.

The day after I was referred to the early pregnancy unit in Good Hope and each and every member of staff there were understanding, sympathetic and completely amazing at their jobs. I have my scan which showed the baby was fine, thank God.

They explained to me afterward why the bleeding had occurred and that it could happen again, which it has, but they’re at the end of the phone with the same caring, sympathetic approach. They have really helped me and I will always be grateful.
