"Eye appointment"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Ophthalmology

I went to the eye clinic after a referral from my opticians and then by my GP from the time I arrived at the clinic at 8.35 am to the time I left I was treated with such respect and care .first I was seen by visual inspection nurse then I was see by the consultant . It’s only the second time in my life I was seen by a consultant . The eye consultant was excellent in both his clinical inspection of my eyes and then taking extra care in explaining to me exactly what was done and for what reason . He was so caring and one can see he genuinely loves his work and most all wants to do the best for each and everyone of his patients .

He took time to explaing why the X Ray way done of the back of the eye and explained in depth the photos and the graphs . I left the clinic knowing I was seen by the best and I know my Heath was in good hands ,

The consultant is a credi to his team his profession and most of all a credit to QMC

Please pass On my message to the entire eye clinic and most of to the consultant who took care of me this morning

Thank you so much for taking the time to get in touch and for sharing your feedback about our Ophthalmic team. It’s great to hear that you felt well-informed and cared for by the team, from the nurse to your Consultant. I’ll make sure your comments are seen by the whole team.

Kind regards

Keith Knox, Matron, Surgery Division
