"My experience in hairmyers"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was advised to go to hairmyers by my GP as I experienced tightness in my chest as well as other symptoms. I arrived at a& e and the staff member on reception was very friendly and helpful he took my details and advised a nurse would call me when ready. All of the staff I came into contact with from the nurses to healthcare support assistants, porters and staff in x-ray department were lovely and very helpful. I don’t remember all of the names unfortunately but my nurse Thomas was very friendly and again very helpful, I felt that by speaking to me and making me smile it put me at ease and made being in hospital less daunting for me. I felt well taken care of and in good hands by all each of the staff members who looked after me.
