I came to the early pregnancy unit at 12 weeks of pregnancy with pain and bleeding. They confirmed this was a miscarriage, and arranged to follow up for me in 1 week in the emergency gynaecology unit.
Before this happened over the weekend, I became unwell at home. My husband called the emergency contact on the ward, who let me come in urgently. I was assessed as soon as I arrived, and received fantastic care from the doctors, nurses and HCAs on the ward. I was then followed up twice by the emergency gynaecology unit; on both occasions, they were fantastically professional and reassuring.
Through what has been a difficult few weeks, the care I received has been fantastic. I cannot thank all the teams in the gynaecology enough for how well they have looked after me,
