My medication is constantly being rejected or altered without any GP ever seeing me or calling me in for any review. This is being done without GPs having any knowledge of my long term medical conditions and as such is being done without my consent. I have complained 4 x times since June 2018 but the situation continues. I am suffering a great deal of distress about this situation.
This against GMC guidance which states medication should be prescribed by a GP who has full knowledge of the patients' medical conditions.
How can the GP's know this when they are making repeat prescription decisions remotely without ever seeing me the patient in person on a one to one consultation.
I have never once been written to or called in to make an appointment to discuss changes to my medication.
medications are just being rejected or altered every month.
I dread receiving my medication fro the chemist each month wondering what next will be rejected or altered without my consent.
It is very bad practice and I am considering complaining to NHS England.
