I have undergone 5 visits to East Surrey Chemo outpatients ward. On each occasion staff took time to explain and reassure me regarding the treatment process and regularly checked on my welfare during what were long visits. The ward clerks, nurses and senior staff were professional and compassionate. Having only engaged with NHSover 20 years ago for 3 x childbirth, this sudden cancer diagnosis has been met with swift, personalised care and each visit has reinforced my opinion that I am in good hands.
