About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital / Accident and emergency

Took my mother to A and E last night. 84 year old woman, six days out of major surgery

on her knee, complaining of breathlessness when walking, feeling very unwell, triage nurse put us bottom of list, after two hours my mothers leg was hurting from sitting down, I asked triage nurse if she could lie down anywhere, answer no. ( could not care less ). we were doing more harm than good waiting there, we came on home unseen.
