About: The Warren Practice

Had an appointment for stitches removal with nurse,only slot available before flying as we explained earlier same day looking for maybe earlier, instead was actually passed over at time of my appointment-3pm so had to leave for my flight,this isn't the first time this has happened.

I have never heard of anyone getting to see a doctor in under 2 weeks.the doctors are great here but the admin is awful.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the late running of your nurses appointment. Unfortunately on some occasions nurses appointments may run over time due to different circumstances and the nature of the appointment. On the whole you can see a doctor within our practice within 7 days, but again there will be certain times of the year when the wait might be slightly longer. We do however have an emergency surgery Monday-Friday for any Urgent problems that have happened overnight or have got progressively worse over a few days. We also have extended appointments at our local HUB at The Hesa Centre where we can offer you an appointment in the evening or at the weekend.

We advertise our 'Did not attend' rate as unfortunately this is very high and does have a knock on effect with the availability of appointments.
