"Detached Retina"

About: Sussex Eye Hospital / Ophthalmology

I was sent to the eye hospital on 17th July to be seen as an emergency, following a visit to the Optician who suspected a Detached Retina. Apart from a long wait for the pre op assessment, which was a little nerve racking, the care I received was amazing from start to finish. I have been back to A & E a couple of times when things haven't been quite right or something was bothering me and everyone has been very kind. This is definitely our NHS at it's best.
