"My GP can't access my scan results after a month"

About: University Hospital (Coventry)

(as a service user),

I had a nuclear medical scan. I was impressed by the flow of treatment(every aspect of it, from reception to scan) and the advice and care I received.

 However it is now a full month since the scan and my GP has not received any results of this scan. This leaves me as a widower and a octagenerian in a worried state of limbo,
The scan was taken at Coventry and Warwickshire University Hospital in The Nuclear Medicine Dept.

I was very disappointed to hear about your experience, and I would like to apologise as this is not the standard of service we aim to provide for our patients.

I would urge you to speak to our patient advice team on feedback@uhcw.nhs.uk or on 0800 028 4203 so they can look into your concerns in more detail and ensure that your scan is reported to your GP as soon as possible.
