What I liked
Having had a traumatic facial injury on the 18th December, I needed stitches removed from a rather nasty lip wound. I was unable to have this done at my local surgery until 27th Decemeber, as they were closed over the Christmas period. I was given an appointment on Boxing day and was so relieved and grateful. The nurses and other staff who dealt with me were extremely kind and understanding. The nurse who actually removed my stitches explained everything, was very gentle, yet thorough and I felt no pain. Although this was a particularly busy time of year, I was made to feel important and cared for. I cannot thank the nurse who treated me enough. She went far out of her way to help and advise me, and even phoned around different departments to find me some ointment to treat my wound after the stitches came out. Please pass on my thanks to the department and all involved.
