Amazing treatment i am a very anxious person , due to suffering with fibromyalgia as well when i went for my eye surgery on the 20th sep 2018

i was scared and nervous ,

but all the staff were supportive, and helpful ,my op took more than double the time it normally takes and i took longer to come round everyone else had gone home

the day ward closes at 5pm it was 8.30pm before i was well enough to leave

but the staff were still very patient and supportive and didnt rush me

all in all a positive experience cant fault the staff or the treatment

well done Scarborough hospital for giving me two positive experiences in a month

i had such bad hospital experiences from the last place i was treated in Oxfordshire.

And now thanks to Scarborough hospital i have some positive experiences . a big thank you to you all keep up the amazing work ,your a credit to the practise of nursing and care

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your positive experience with ophthalmology in Scarborough.

Coming to hospital can be scary and I can completely understand you being nervous about eye surgery. I am so happy to hear that the staff were supportive and helped you through this difficult time. It sounds as though they were really living our Trust Values, caring for you and putting you at the heart of what they were doing.

I will pass these comments on to the right team and I know they will be really pleased to read them.

Wishing you all the best for your recovery, and I hope that if you do need to come back you can feel a little less nervous, knowing that staff will be there to help you.
