My visit to A&E ON 14/09/18 was via emergency ambulance and the staff were brilliant . I was surprised at how many extra beds were provided , and due to my chest pain and seizures I was given a bed in majors then assessed quickly with pain relief given which was far better than on previous admissions . After a seizure I was taken to AAU while my second blood was taken and checked . Again all the staff were friendly and kept me up-dated on my results . It was great to leave there knowing my condition had been stabilised and that I could return if it happened again . As a diabetic it was reassuring to be offered food and drink in both A&E and AAU .
What an improvement from last year . Thank you everyone .
