I attended Bath A&E following a burn I received during Sunday morning.
My details were taken in a professional and kindly manner and the receptionist took me straight through to a nurse who accessed my burnand gave immediate instruction and care. I was quickly seen by a nurse practitioner and given pain relief and advice and the health care worker dressed my wound.
The nurses were extremely personable and kind and given the stress of my incident paid attention to my wellbeing.
I returned the following day to see the nurse practitioner who specialises in burns and was again given the utmost care consideration and instruction.
Later in the week I returned to have the dressing changed and although I had to wait I was greatful to be seen even though they were busy with injuries and emergencies.
I would say that having had to visit this A&E department on three occasions I can honestly say these staff excel in their kindness efficiency and care I was sorry I had to go there following an accident but would credit the staff who made my visit a pleasure to meet such dedicated people.
Thank you NHS and Bath A& E you should be proud.
