"My experience of RJAH Hospital"

From the beginning my experience at the RJAH Hospital was faultless. The administration staff including my Consultants secretary , Pre Operative assessment team, Day case unit staff, theatre porter, theatre HCA/ODP/Recovery Nurse, Ludlow Ward staff including the Housekeeping team, were all without exception efficient, professional and caring.

Having the opportunity to book an amenity bed on Ludlow Ward was a much appreciated bonus which I opted for being a private person as this allowed me to have my own room. Not once did I feel isolated because of this.

I felt safe and well cared for at all times. The staff on Ludlow Ward worked well together and it was so nice to hear a team laughing together and appearing happy no matter how busy they were.

There was plenty of choice each day on the menu and the food was good.

My room was clean and cleaned well during the day and the nursing staff used the hand gel frequently.

The team on Ludlow were very efficient and it was nice seeing the Ward Sister every day.

Last but not least I am so grateful to my Consultant, I was given all the information I needed pre operatively with time to ask questions and make informed choices.
