The member of staff today let down the whole service, usually I would wholeheartedly recommend the clinic. I brought my daughter for a blood test. She attended previously and got in such an anxious state she fainted and found the whole process overwhelming that the phlebotomist told her to come back another day and come straight to the front of the queue to be seen. I came with her today and explained rhe situation to be shown no empathy, dignity or compassion for the situation. To be asked the name of the member of staff my daughter had spoken to previously was not helpful as she could’nt remember as she FAINTED! We gave up trying to explain the situation. My daughter becoming increasingly more agitated. I had already talked her into waliking ino the clinic through her protests. I am myself employed by the NHS as a Specialist Practitioner and was appalled by the member of staff response.I had taught my daughter research based diversion techniques to keep her calm, unfortunately these couldn’t be used due to the phlebotomist response. I will be contacting PALS or make formal complaint.Such a shame for a usually impeccable service.
"So sorry to write a BAD review of the Blood..."
