What I liked

Good team-work. The staff are dedicated. Systems are efficient. Good model for others to follow.

What could be improved

Night staff appeared to be under pressure possibly due to staff shortages caused by cuts?

Nevertheless they seemed to cope well but it is not the ideal situation.

Day staff are working long shifts, 12 hours or more and it shows on their faces towards the end of the shift. However, their dedication shines through . Wonder what they think!

Anything else?

tv not working in waiting area. ( I have an old large screen tv they could have). Toilet areas on the ward need a more regular visit from cleaning staff.

Very impressed with the dedication and caring attitude of staff in the Recovery Unit.
