What I liked
I took my son to the Emergency Department - we were shown to a child friendly area and the staff took my concerns seriously - staff listened and gave clear advice and information - a woman who was elderly in the department was distressed and the staff handled her sensitively and compassionately
I attended this department in 2008 when it was like a war zone - I made a complaint and I received a really comprehensive response with a list of improvements that were being made - i was sceptical that they would happen but it is is very different now and professional withy a staff team that cared - thank you things have improved for the best
There will always be those who complain but credit where credit is due
What could be improved
My GP surgery didnt want to know It was only at the hospital i felt i was listened to - there are many public messages about when using the hospital and when not to- it was busy but no wonder if GPs cant see you every one will go there
