I am extremely disappointed with this surgerys lack of essential patient care.
I am an elderly 85 years old patients with severe arthritis and osteoporosis that leaves me in pain most of the time with very restricted mobility, especially difficult to walk, or safely drive a car long distances.
I have an essential appointment booked at a hospital that is over 15 miles from where I live and cannot drive that far or able to take and get on board public transport due to my physical impairments.
The hospital staff appear to be understanding and practical and have agreed that transport should be arrange by the Rowans Surgery to take me there.
However, I am most alarmed and totally let down by this surgery as they have refused to arrange transportation for this urgent and essential physiotherapy appointment.
This is an absolute shambles and and disgrace by the doctor to have refused to arrange transportation for a vulnerable elderly long-standing patient of the practice for over 53 years.
"Failed to arrange necessary transport for..."
