About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / General surgery

(as a carer),

we had to bring in a service user who has Autism who had to have a scan.   From the moment we arrived at Newlyn Ward the staff there were excellent.   Made the patient feel welcomed and told everything what would happen, so he was made nervous free, what is very important to him.     so to all the staff on the ward thank you very much..    You all did a fantastic job.

Dear happy kernow,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us, it is lovely to read about your time on Newlyn Ward where you found the staff to be excellent. I am glad to see that they made the patient feel welcomed and explaining everything so that he was not nervous about the treatment he was receiving.
