"Excellent caring staff"

I attended the hospital 06/09/2018 for ‘day surgery’ unfortunately (or fortunately) I have always been told I’m a difficult patient and ended up staying in, the staff were second to non, I suffer with anxiety and everyone put my mind at ease and explained everything in full. The anaesthetic staff were amazing, three ladies and looked after me so well. I was dreading having a Canular in as when I had my c section years before that was the most painful thing, instead of smacking my hand (like they did 9 years ago at another hospital) they just gently rubbed it, they took so much care and made such a difference!

All the nursing staff took the time to introduce themselves and the lady who had looked after me in day ward came down to the inpatients ward when she was knocking off shift to let me know she was going home and told me I would be well looked after! Such a lovely gesture.

I would highly recommend. The food was amazing too! Thankyou xx
