"What a wonderful experience"

I don’t think there are enough words in the dictionary to describe how absolutely fantastic this hospital is! I can not say enough good things about it or it’s fantastic staff! I had my baby here after moving to the area in spring and I can honestly say I had received some shocking care in my previous district,multiple times so to come over to West Yorkshire was a breath of fresh air and made such a difference. If I didn’t know any better I was in receipt of private medical care it was that good!

Every midwife, doctor and nurse gave me everything I needed and more from medical care to emotional support. The whole experience really restored my faith in the NHS and made me feel safe again. I feel privileged to have had my baby here and for as long as I live I will brag about our experience. Thank you Pinderfields Hospital and Pontefract Hospital, you were amazing, I am forever in your debt! The maternity department deserve a medal for all their hard work, I met some amazing ladies on the ward that worked across the two hospitals and I was offered advice from everyone I met that really showed they cared, they deserve so much more support than they have. Clean, good food, amazing staff, easy parking and never once did I feel they wanted rid of me the only thing I needed was my partner to stay by my side through the night but I understand why he couldn’t but that’s the only single thing I would change. Thank you again!!
