"Cancelled appointments"

Why when you make an appointment to see someone do they cancel it but fail to tell you.The answer is always someone was supposed to ring you .It seems that someone is not up to doing the job they are paid to do , if that is the case why are the still working.I am fed up of wasting my time and money getting to this surgery ,i think this needs reviewing at the next staff training day. I would be only too pleased to come and tell them how to do the job correctly .
