I was recently admitted at Pinderfields hospital after visiting the A&E a while back. I was in severe pain due to a swelling in my mouth that resulted me being admitted in hospital. The doctors at A&E diagnosed and referred me to the Surgical Assessment Unit.
Prior to that I was being dripped with antibiotics that relieved my pain. The moment I was admitted to the Surgical assessment Unit I have to say that the care that I received was exceptional. I was admitted by this wonderful nurse Bincy (I looked at the name badge) taking details and filling relevant forms and pre admittance questionnaire. After that was the care that I received at this ward (there was a student nurse and an agency nurse too ) was super excellent.
The nurse kept follow ups on my condition and really put me at ease while giving my medication. Though the ward was a little busy at that time I was touched by the care that I received. I had a nice sleep and when in the morning when I woke up it was shift change and still I was cared by another nurse Jesna who cared for my wellbeing. After I was seen by doctor doing rounds ( with other doctors ) and was told how I felt and I at that moment was improved from the situation from the night before. I was better with medication and with the wonderful care that I received at the SAU. Kudos to the nurses who treated me with their wonderful care and a world class treatment. The nurses are a boon to the health industry. I wish they care the same excellent way in the future. I thank the staff and management at Pinderfields Hospital.
Regards
"Excellent care while in hospital"
